Cher – Here We Go Again Tour

Australia might have been really blessed for another music goddess is descending to grace Aussie stages with her unfading talent, exuberance and glamour. It's none other than the goddess of pop, Cher, gracing stages in September and October for her ‘Here We Go Again Tour’. She will be performing in Newcastle, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Sydney, marking her first visit in over a decade.

The whirlwind tour will follow the music icon's Auckland show and will see her treating fans to a 90-minute set of her greatest hits including ‘Bang Bang’, ‘Gypsies, Tramps & Thieves’, ‘If I Could Turn Back Time’ and ‘I Got You Babe’—her single with music partner and ex-husband Sonny Bono. Of course, a Cher concert will never be legit without the elaborate stage design and her extravagant costumes that never fail to please the eyes.

With a career spanning over five decades, we can all agree that Cher is a living legend. She has produced more than 20 albums, played to packed venues, sold 100 million records worldwide and collected awards from every major award-giving body. A trendsetter, she was the first one to use pitch-correcting software Auto-Tune deliberately for creative effect—that was in her 1998 single ‘Believe’ which eventually became one of the biggest hits of the ‘90s. Even then, her ability to sweep audiences with her full contralto vocals and live performances—then and now—remains unquestionable. Apart from being a singer, Cher is also an actress, a fashion icon and a philanthropist. She supports causes such as LGBT rights, women empowerment and HIV prevention.
