"O'Brien is a talent to watch."
Blues Revue Magazine USA
PJ O’Brien knows how to get a Blues party started. His blistering fretwork has been turning heads from Perth to Memphis, Chicago, Austin, London, Singapore and back again.
As a singer/songwriter, Glenn is a disciple of Southern US soulful rock/R’n’B, founding and fronting Sydney band Dog The Duke in 2014 and, more recently, roots/rock band Sacred Crows. A quiet mainstay of the music scene, he has appeared on national TV (The Voice 2012/13, panellist on All Together Now 2018), on stage with Adele for her 2017 Sydney stadium shows, performed as part of profile tribute shows across Australia (CCE Entertainment “Great Gig in the Sky”, “1978” & “Australian Pub Rock” shows, Twilight at Taronga “The Eagles” tribute 2013), played supports for national and international artists including Jose Feliciano, Boyz II Men, Eugene Hideaway Bridges, Russell Morris, Richard Clapton, Ray Beadle & Marshall Okell, and plays hundreds of gigs and sessions each year in Sydney and around Southern NSW.
