Listen Out Melbourne 2016 Gets Louder With More Than 10dB Sound Increase

Fuzzy, with approval from St Kilda Council, announced that there will be noise increase of more than 10dB for this year's Listen Out in Melbourne, in response to feedback regarding the sound restrictions set for the venue last 2015.

That means the sound on the dance floor will be over twice as loud as last year! The decibel scale is defined such that a 10dB volume increase is one that sounds twice as loud to our ears.

More speaker positions will also be added so full-volume sound can cover much more of the festival area. In addition, there will be more soundproofing to ensure local residents will not be inconvenienced.

Fuzzy would like to extend a big thank you for the ongoing support they have received from St Kilda Council.
