Beat the chill with this hot percussion show!
Super excited to announce this free cultural event to attend: Feel the Beat of Korea “TAGO: KOREAN DRUM” on Monday 1 August, 2022.
This event is a collaborative cultural performance event and co-hosted by Consulate-General of the Republic of Korea in Melbourne and Korea Foundation.
The young male percussionists take their name from the word “TAGO”, which means “lighting up the world by beating drums” – and they certainly do that. “TAGO: Korean Drum” will feature a heady mix of vibrant rhythmic drumming, using a range of different-sized traditional Korean drums and percussion instruments, combined with spellbinding dancing and martial arts moves.
The troupe has toured in Germany, Spain, the United States, South Africa and many other countries and was also featured in the promotional video for the Pyeong Chang Olympic Winter Games 2018.
This will be a wonderful chance for the Melbournians to enjoy their beautiful, stylish movements and dynamic visuals, expressive vocals with the sounds of various instruments. Come join us in this incredible percussion performance for your dose of arts, culture and inspiration. Spaces are limited and filling fast. BOOK YOURS TODAY!
