Join us for the launch of Bioplastic Futures: 3D Printing and the Maker Movement and a Conversation.
Through critical making, speculative design and material experiments with bioplastics, ceramics and repurposed objects, Matthew Harkness’ exhibition Bioplastic Futures: 3D Printing and the Maker Movement addresses issues of waste, exclusivity, and exploitation in maker culture.
Join Matthew Harkness & Stefan Lie for a lively discussion on Matthew’s research and resulting exhibition that deploys Actor-Network Theory and co-design to critically examine 3D printing technology and its role in maker culture.

Conversation: 5:30pm – 6:30pm
