2019 ushers in a new era for PLTS. The first body of work to be released in over 7 years, Lonely Leaves finds a home for the band's unique sound that articulates feelings of growth, change and loss, yet hones and harnesses the beauty of their hometown. Now veterans of the touring and festival circuit (with Bigsound and Splendour In the Grass notches on their belt) PLTS have arrived at a place where there is little division between the explosiveness of their live show and their ability to capture it in the studio.
Following a string of successful 2019 releases, Byron Bay indie-rockers Seaside are at it again with blistering new single ‘Joyride’. The single comes following a busy live schedule which has seen them touring nationally with the likes of Last Dinosaurs and Angus & Julia Stone as well as a slew of festival appearances at Splendour in the Grass, Party in the Paddock, Grampians Music Festival and 2019’s Bigsound.
Brisbane's Concrete Surfers deliver huge walls of fuzz and bass with forward thinking lyrics and an antiestablishment flair. The Brisbane band have just unveiled their latest offering ‘Shattered Thoughts’ capping off a mammoth 2019, with appearances at Bigsound, Crafted Beer and Cider Festival and upcoming slot at Byron Bay’s Falls Music and Arts Festival.
